Missionaries to Honduras
In April 2009 Julie and Kevin McKenzie answered God's call to serve full time in Honduras. Kevin works with the teams coming to serve at the Good Shepherd Children’s home and utilizes older teens of the home to conduct Bible classes in public schools and Bible clubs to nearby communities of GSCH. He also applies his police background to provide additional training to the home’s guards and is seeking opportunities to expand ministry to the national police force. Julie handles all the correspondence between supporters and the children, including gift acknowledgements, pictures and thank you letters. They have four children, Garrett, Molly Ruth, Sophie and a recent special addition to their family Jeimy Sofia McKenzie who they have adopted from the children’s home.
