Kenneth and Kirsten Nelson are from Dothan, AL. They have three children: Connor-18, Kayleigh-15, and Cade-11.  Their family has previously served as missionaries in Costa Rica and Ecuador with the International Mission Board.
 
Kenneth helps oversee the ministries of the Thomas Herrington Bible Institute.  His primary responsibilities include academics and capital improvement projects.  Kenneth also leads village teams for BMDMI. 
 
Kirsten serves as an anesthetist in Guiamaca at Centro Medico de Especialidades as well as homeschooling their three children, teaching life skills classes at the GSCA and THBI, and leading a weekly Bible study for the youth at GSCH.
