BMDMI began serving in Nicaragua in 1989 by bringing medical and dental teams to minister to the people of this war-torn country. Nicaragua is considered to be the second poorest country in the Western Hemisphere. There are many who live in extreme poverty. As a result of teams serving in Nicaragua and sharing the Gospel message, nearly 30 churches have been planted that minister to the spiritual needs of their communities. BMDMI also operates the Dwight Carr Bible Institute, the Mount of Olives Christian School in San Gregorio, Carazo, and the Emmanuel Home of Protection that cares for abused girls.
Please pray with us for the ongoing ministry work being done in Nicaragua. Pray that God would sustain this work and send more missionaries to serve. Consider serving with us as a missionary or team member.
