After serving on several short-term teams to Honduras, Eric and Roxanne, along with their two daughters, accepted God’s call to become full-time missionaries and moved from Kentucky to Honduras in June of 2014. Soon after their move, they welcomed four foster children into their family. Adoptions have been completed on three of the four children, and they are praying the fourth will be completed soon.
During their time in Honduras, the Bowmans have served in different capacities involving children, medicine, and community outreach in the communities in which they have served. As a licensed nurse practitioner with her PhD in nursing, Roxanne enjoys showing God’s love and care for others by utilizing the skills and training He has provided to her. Eric has a background in engineering and music ministry. God has blessed him with a love of people and a desire to help each person understand that God has a designed plan for their lives.
Their oldest daughter, Tara, lives and attends college in Kentucky. Their other children, Ella, Ana, Yamileth, Mateo, and Mireya (Mimi), reside with them in Honduras. The family enjoys spending time together singing, dancing, watching movies, and playing games. They are both excited about the plans that God has for them as they follow His call to join the team at BMDMI.
