New Year Plans in Guatemala

     Happy New Year! A new year means new beginnings and we are excited to see what all God has planned for 2021!

     In December we joined one of our Pastors / Ministry partners to provide mattresses in an area where people lost everything in the aftermath of the storms. One man with tears in his eyes shared his gratitude saying “my family has been sleeping on the floor for two months but tonight we will sleep good!”

     The Howell team is scheduled for mid February. The team will put a roof on a Church building, build a new house and pila (pila is a large water tank with wash stations) for Nueva Esperanza. This is exciting because this will be our first Church plant in Guatemala. We are excited to announce that we will be receiving a grant through our home Church, FBC Runnelstown, from Pure Water Pure Love. This grant will fund the drilling of a water well in Nueva Esperanza. God has big plans in this new community but it has not come without hurdles. Please pray for God's grace, guidance, and intervention as we are preparing in anticipation of the Howell team.

We are also looking ahead to more Hurricane recovery as we are coordinating more work. The opportunities to serve are many. We are looking for teams/groups to minister and help rebuild in these affected areas. The needs include everything from clothing and shoes to home repairs and total rebuilds. Evangelism such as door to door and children's ministries are needed as well. If God is leading you to any of these opportunities we will be excited to get you plugged in!

We are excited to see teams return this year! We will take every precaution to protect you. If you would like to bring a group or just make a vision trip for later you are welcome!
