March News from Guatemala

     BMDMI Guatemala hosted the first team this year and by the glory of God it was a huge success! The Howell-Waits team put a roof on a new church building, built two houses, offered children’s ministry, and veterinarian Ministry.

     A farmer who benefitted from the veterinarian services said: “Most people just want to preach to me. You came and treated my cows and saved me a lot of money. I can use that money for my family.” We shared the love Jesus has for him and his gospel and he accepted Christ as his savior.

     Join us in praying for the church in Nueva Esperanza. It was an exciting first service in the new church building with 87 in attendance. As a result of the team’s desire to share the gospel in various ministries, there are 18 new believers. We are planning programs to help grow and develop this new church plant. The church is in need of a pastor, one who will shepherd and disciple the community. One of the homes built will be for the pastor God is calling to serve in this community.

     There are multiple opportunities to serve here in Guatemala. There are open dates on our schedule and we are waiting for you! If you feel God calling you to serve in Guatemala, please reach out to us. This year would be great for a vision group and or full team.
