July Updates from Guatemala

     Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine...Ephesians 3:20

     Immeasurably more is the only way to describe all God is doing here in Guatemala!

     The Sewing Program has flourished. It started out with only 4 sewing machines and students. We now have 10 students. Additionally, we have a couple machines on loan to us until we can get more. The ladies are excited and are learning quickly. They are saving weekly to buy their own machine and receiving training in starting their own business once they go out on their own. A huge thanks to Iglesia Oasis de Amor, Pastor Byron and his wife, Irma, for facilitating this program.

     The Feeding Programs are growing. Every week approximately 300 kids are getting fed both physically and spiritually. Weekly the kids in El Rincon, La Cerra and Barcena come to church where they receive a hot nutritious meal and enjoy their own worship service with singing, dancing and Bible lessons. The opportunities are endless for these programs. We have potential to start several others as we have been made aware of several churches/communities in need.

     These programs need support to continue and for additional programs to begin. If you would like to be a part of this ministry, you can! As little as $25 a month helps provide meals for a child as well as connects them to their local church. That is priceless!

     Teams ministry has been awesome! Overflow Church, The Bradley Team, Summit Church and The Estes Team have all served so well in their time here. We have seen God move not only in the people of Guatemala but also in the team members. Lives were forever changed as a result. Teams have provided Building projects, Water Filters, Shoes, Medical, Veterinarian Services, Children's Ministry, Women's Ministry, and Evangelism. Most importantly, at the half way point of the year, to God be ALL the glory, 176 people have accepted Christ as their savior!

     We are excited to host 7 more teams before furlough. We cannot wait to see what all God is going to do in and through them!
