Rehab Ministry in Nicaragua

     Today I visited Mahanaim Rehab. I have been praying about this ministry and my actual situation with the mission. Every time I go to the Scripture, God shows me that it is the Holy Spirit who calls you to ministry. I found in acts when Barnabas and Saul were commissioned that they were selected by the Holy Spirit. The leader just prayed and the Holy Spirit guided them to where they needed to serve.

     This morning we had a great time. I taught on Psalm 139 about who God is and the meaning of every one of His attributes in the life of an addict. I also brought 25 bibles. I was short in my number by 10, because today we had new people.

     Yesterday, one of our pastors. Santos Palacio, with the pastor from El Tuma, Jorge Lopez, who is our partner in the work in Mahanaim connected a family with a 19 year-old young man who had a problem with crack. They are from Israel and they searched for help with their local Pentecostal church and the pastor did not want anything to do with them. So, pastor Jorge talked with the director of Mahanaum and thanks to our partnership this family they will get a full treatment for free. This family will also have the support from our BMDMI church in Israel.

     This is what my vision was -- to connect churches with a program like Mahanaim to help people who do not have any hope. Thanks to your faithful support, we are able to do this.

     If you see the pictures, today everyone had a Bible in their hands and I praise the Lord all of them were reading it while I was teaching.

     Please pray for Jorge Lopez and his wife as he has a heart for this place as pastor. Pray for Juan Ortega, the director, because he sees a change in the life of the men, cause by the Bible study. I also ask prayer for guidance and provision for me and my family.
