Caribbean Ministries

I’m thankful for the weakness that has come from struggles. It reminds me that God’s grace is enough for my sin every day, for eternity. He showed His mercy and provided everything that the ministry needed in 2021 at the Caribbean coast. I'm grateful for the pastors that have been helping me in so many ways: Abel, Santos, and Raúl accompanied me on the trips. I want to share one thought from one of my devotionals and praise God for faithfulness.
“But he said to me, ‘My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.’ Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may rest on me.” 2 Cor. 12:9

Children's Ministry

In 2021 we had the opportunity to serve 50 children. We were able to share food, games, and the story of the precious gift: "The birth of Jesus and His plan of salvation”.
One child we got to minister to is named Everth. Everth is an 11 year-old boy who walked 4 hours on foot to get to where we met. He works in the fields to help his parents with the needs of their home. Everth does not know how to read or write, but he always had a smile on his face and was willing to help. The Lord touched my heart through him, so I returned home wondering what I could do to help him. In the upcoming year our goal is to give Everth and another group of children basic classes to learn to read and write.

Sewing Ministry

The women participating in our sewing ministry are currently making mosquito nets for their homes, and continue to develop new skills in sewing. We are continuing our discipleship and study of John with these women. However, most of these women cannot read or write, so please be praying that we find a clear way to help them. Our reading of the Bible is often the only way these women can hear and experience the Word.

Reading Glasses Ministry

We delivered many reading glasses to men and women who needed them. What a thrill it was to see their faces light up and hear them say that they could then see better and read the Bible.

Project Life

There are many malnourished children on the Caribbean coast. Deymari is a year old but currently weighs 15 pounds – the size of a 4 month-old child. We are helping baby Deymari and her mom with a nutrition program so that she can gain weight according to her needs.

Jesus is changing lives and moving in the communities at the Caribbean Coast.

In 2021 we were able to share food packages with families and visit door- to-door, praying for peoples’ needs and sharing the gospel with our brothers and sisters. Three people, Mary, Blanca, and David, accepted Christ as their Savior. Praise be to God.
