Description of Position
The church planter would be responsible for following up where teams have shared the Gospel in distinct communities with the purpose of beginning discipleship groups that would eventually lead to a church plant.

Responsibilities
Plan and execute weekly small group meetings to begin discipling new believers
Work to identify and develop local leadership
Develop plans to plant autonmous, mission-minded churches that will thrive under local indigenous leadership
Teach and train identified leaders to become permanent pastors
Organize and work with short-term mission teams that will augment existing ministries that you are developing
Submit regular reports of progress to field director and BMDMI administration
Additional Requirements
Ability to speak Spanish is necessary. Candidates should either possess this ability upon starting or be willing to complete formal language learning at the time of arrival in country.
