Missionaries to GSCA
Description of Position
Join our international team in Honduras that provides a Christian, bilingual education to a vulnerable children in a rural community. The Good Shepherd Christian Academy is situated on 60+ acres in the
beautiful mountains of Zamorano, a city to the east of the Honduran capital of Tegucigalpa.
We are dedicated to providing a quality education to the children of the Good Shepherd Children's Home and the surrounding community. A bilingual education gives these students additional skills to be able to succeed in the difficult life that most Hondurans face.
Use your God-given abilities and skills to reach children and their families with the good news of the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
This position is a full-time missionary calling, which will be 100% support-raised. It will come with many challenges. With support from the missionary field director, our USA-based
organizational office, and the project-based GSCH Task Force, you will need to embrace difficult situations and be able to overcome the obstacles of living, working, and serving abroad.
Applicants must be gifted and experienced in some of the following:
Elementary or Secondary Education
Orphan Care / Child Counseling / Child Trauma
Proficient in Spanish
Non-Profit Fundraising / Ministry Fundraising
Communication Skills
Hosting Mission Teams / International Mission Trip Travel
Organizational Skills
Finances / Budgeting / Accounting
Servanthood Leadership
Applicants should be able to delegate and work in a team environment with a passion for serving children. Applicants should be currently thriving in a healthy, spiritual community.
